Tokka PNF - Salt and Tears

Hmm... where should I start?

1st of all, Sokka's Pirate dress looks plain to me as it has only some basic colors but still looks appealing to me. I wanted to make his outfit bluish and white, but I let it down since he's supposed to be a mysterious character, which coudn't be recognized by Katara and Zuko.

Speaking of both, this is the second time I drew them. Their faces doesn't seem to have changed, considering that this is after 6 years later, oh well... I never had much interest on other characters anyway.

I'd like to thank the internet for the props, yeah the barrels and fishes on the side, as well as the railing and the ship's deck. The laziness to draw within got me into searching the props that I need.

I have to give in to the lighting in this scenario. It was awfully good without it, believe me, the colors are so vibrant. Heck, I need to follow the story plot, so sorry that you'll never get to see it... unless I get petitions maybe.

The fog made a great addition to the dark scenario. Good thing I added that in.

If I didn't read the story again, I might have omitted Zuko's swords. At least there's one of them, adding another means stabbing his face.

Probably not a full moon or it is cloudy so no shiny stuff on everything here, even though I wanted to.

It was luck that I discovered such effect on the dialogue boxes. It looked cool so I left it that way.

I guess the only thing solid in this picture is the borders. I dunno why, but I like borders so much they stand out there for some reason. hmm... Oh yeah, their contrast looks good too.

We'll that's all I can say. Geez, this is a tiring event. I dunno if I should participate next time, probably If I got drafted again for emergency purposes, I will. Until then, I better get back and do some more ATLASCA fanfiction.
